Anyona FC - Tabaka FC 3-2

Our team of Anyona football club beat the visiting Tabaka f,c on sunday 25th April at Anyona primary school ground. This was the second match of the provincial league that saw Anyona winning by 3 goals against 2 goals scored by the visitors. The first match was away against Matongo in which both teams drew 2-2. Anyona will play again on 16th of May against Tarlents star from suneka. As a coach player the team is capable of winning this league title with support from the stakeholders.

Alla mår bra i skolan. Den extraundervisningen som pågått under aprillovet planerar man att avsluta på onsdag i nästa vecka. Edward har börjat hjälpa till i köket vilket befriar Leonard från detta. Margarets arbete i köket har blivit enklare.

Dagens rapport från kycklingbanken utgörs bland annat av fina bilder på vaccination av hönsen. Vi ser också att kycklingar har hunnit bli stora.

The work for the New Abuso Land fencing started on the 9th of April 2010 and has been finished today the 17th. It started with the measurement of the place to be fenced by Fred and Felix and one fundi and then planning for the materials and work to be done on it. It has taken 7days now because of too much rain that has been going on this week, painting of the poles with black used oil to prevent ants and repel water, making proper holes, placing the poles in the holes and putting concrete to make them strong and leaving them for a day so that when fencing is done the poles don't become weak in the process. I think Fred has done a recommendable work on the fence. See the pictures attached. From the pictures, you can see part of the St. Christine land that has newly been bought and the poles that are going to be used to fence the place.

Im writing this mail when it is just five minutes before i release pupils to go home for the weekend.It has been a very good week in the school and all teachers and pupils responded positively. I have another helper in the kitchen who started on Monday 12th.

"We started our holiday teaching today [12th of April 2010] and all the teachers were present. Pupils were also present ready to learn this April after one week at home."

Barnen går alltså i skolan i stället för att ha april-lov. Se Davids meddelande den 31 mars.

Anyona football club started their provincial league yesterday away at Matongo in Nyamira district with a 2-2 draw. It was matongo united team that scored first in the first half, otherwise my boys dominated the better part of 2nd half. This was a good start for our team. Next match at anyona with Tabaka spotiff.

Föreningens årsmöte avlöpte utan dramatik. Styrelsen omvaldes. Den enda förändringen var att ny revisor, Björn Dahlberg, valdes då den förre, Anders Westerlund, avböjt omval. Bilden ovan visar den nya styrelsen vid sitt första konstituerande möte.

Före årsmötesförhandlingarna visade Johan Lindholm intressanta och bra bilder från en av resorna i januari. Marianne Gripman och Ingrid Ödman från skolgruppen presenterade resultatet från sina barnobservationer vid sitt senaste treveckorsbesök. Hälsogruppen, representerade av Kerstin Kingfors och Kerstin Lindberg, redogjorde för sitt uppstartsarbete av skolhälsa. De hade undersökt, screenat, hörsel och syn samt mätt längd och vikt på barnen.

Lördagen har tillbringats med arbete kring projektkontorets inre arbete och samarbetet med Sverige. Ett projekt analyserades och kommer att användas som illustration i utbildning. På eftermiddagen träffade vi projektens ledare och redovisade planering och finansiering och avslutade med ett budgetexempel.
